Rendang Meat Balls (Rendang Bola Daging)


Ingredients :

½ kg lean ground beef
tasty rendang meat balls
Marinade tasted wealth
150 gr grated coconut
2 liter thin coconut milk from 2½ coconuts

Seasoning spices are crushed : 

1 piece turmeric leaf
4  pieces kaffir lime leaves
2 seed sour
1 stalk lemongrass

Softened seasoning :

150 grams of red pepper
½ turmeric fingers chopped
2 tbsp minced ginger
8 red unions
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp chopped ginger salt to taste

How to Cook :
  1. Drying the grated coconut until golden and almost dry, then lift. Mashed until smooth and remove the oil, set aside.
  2. Mix the minced meat and mashed coconut while knead until smooth. Shape dough into balls of meat for meat balls, set aside.
  3. boil, turmeric leaves, lime leaves, tamarind, lemongrass and spices over low heat while stirring as no to break the coconut milk until thick and oily. Put meat balls, cook until it changes color until cooked.
  4. Reduce the heat and cook until the milk is terrible and brown, set aside.
